Happy Friday Everyone!! I can't believe it is Friday already!! Wow!!  Time really does go so fast.  Still can't believe summer is over and fall is here!!

Today I have a Wags n Whiskers challenge to share with you.  This week's challenge is hosted by
EmmaEmma's challenge is to use diamonds and pearls on your creation.

A random winner will receive one free Wags 'n Whiskers stamp of your choice!!
But remember, you must use a Wags 'n Whiskers image (digi or rubber) to be entered into the drawing for the prize.
And if you would like to be a guest for our next challenge, add "DT" next to your name when you enter this week's challenge.
Here is my take on the challenge:

I decided to challenge myself even further by making an all white creation except for my image.  This image is Wags n Whiskers- Say a prayer from the Spring time fun collection illustrated by Crissy Armstrong.  I paper pieced her with Parisian Breeze paper retired from Stampin Up.  The background is embossed and I added some lace and pearls.  The image is framed with the Spellbinders Beaded Oval die.  Rhinestones were added for the "diamonds". The layout uses the Midnight Madness sketch:
"YOUR CHOICE"

Happy Friday Everyone!!  Sorry for my lack of posts this week.  Life has been crazy!

Any who  I am back with a post for the Wags n Whiskers challenge for this week. The challenge today is hosted by the sweet and uber talented Melanie. Melanie's challenge is called:

In Stitches

Melanie is asking for you to use either real or fake stitches somewhere on your card or paper project.

Here is my take on the challenge:

I used the  Sweet Danni and Bella image illustrated by Crissy Armstrong for Wags n Whiskers.  This image is sold as both a digi and a rubber stamp. The layout uses the Midnight Madness Sketch for this week.  This card is very shimmery with the glittery paper in person...you probably see it better if you click on the photo.

I purposely used a Christmas image to make a Christmas card to enter in the Sunday's with Crissy challenge this week.

challenges:
Sunday's with Crissy challenge

Today I too am celebrating one year being on the Dt but it is also my last week as a Midnight Madness Design team member. It is hard to say goodbye as I have had so many memories with these dear friends. We have laughed, shared our joys and sorrows and been inspired by one another in so many ways. With the summer approaching, however, I felt it was time to lessen my commitments up a bit so I could spend more time in my gardens and with my girls and hubby. My time as a MMSC design team member will be a memory I will treasure. This is not a goodbye at all, however, since I do plan to keep playing as time allows and I will be stalking their blogs. Who knows....I may return as a dt member some day if they will have me!! Love you all girls!!! Thanks for this awesome opportunity to work with you!! You all have so much talent and your kindness has warmed my heart!!

I used Marching Mouse and Gifts for you image from Penny Black as well as some Basic Grey Paper. The image is colored with copics except for the sponged background. What do you think?

I used some dp from my stash which I have been hoarding from Crate Paper. I bought it in Lancaster last year. Again, the image is colored in copics. Enter one style or both this week.
Just have fun and come play with us :)

My take on the sketch:

Today I have two cards to share with you for this sketch.
The first uses an image from

D' Amour Allure called Annabelle. I used Basic Grey Kioshi dp. I had fun coloring her with prisma color pencils and gamsol. The background I dry embossed with swiss dots. The panel behind the image is dry embossed with victoria. I enjoyed adding just a few em bellishments, sewing, a prima flower, lace, and punched borders.

My second creation uses Angelica's Bunny Hugs from Inky Impressions. Isn't she just darling. I water colored her and popped her up on dimensionals. The border on the side of the image uses a pendant die from the Lotus Pendant Spellbinders set. I punched out 8 of these circular dies and placed them behind the image. This SEI Morning Meadow dp is one of my faves!! I just love the aqua!!

Here is our sketches:

"YOUR CHOICE"
Enter one style or both this week.
Just have fun and come play with us :)

My take on the sketches:
Today I will be sharing two cards with you using this sketch. One more girly and the other masculine.

This first card is created with one of Chelsea's Gurlee Girl images called Lexi Girl. I used Basic Grey Euphoria paper for my background and for paper piecing her bathing suit. The rest of the image is water colored and popped up on dimensionals. The top beach border uses an EK Success Border punch. The luscious lace and stunning prima flower are from Stamp and Create. Each of the circles are dry embossed with swirls, swiss dots, and Victoria Provo Craft folders.

The second card I would like to share is a masculine card I made for my nephew using the adorable Whimsy Turtle and the Whimsy Circle Postmark sentiment set. I thought since I was fashionably late for his birthday it would be very appropriate to use a SLOW turtle. Isn't he just darling.

I colored my image in with water colors and distressed all the edges on my card. The layout uses today's Midnight Madness Sketch challenge. The dp is Basic Grey Marakech. I added some stitching with some thicker thread to make it more masculine. The colors are inspired by the inspiration at My Grafico Challenge

My Whimsy dt sister, Debbie E. also asked many of us at Whimsy to be guest at today's challenge at Spoon Full of Sugar as well since Whimsy is the sponsor!! What fun!! Today's challenge there was to create a birthday card. This second card is my entry for this challenge. If you are here for the Whimsy blog hop, please click here.

Happy Tuesday Everyone!!
I just had to share something weird that is going on with my blog before going on with my post and see if anyone else is experiencing the same thing? Each morning I like to look at my comments on my blog and then reciprocate a message for those who I may not have visited the day before. So this a.m. I clicked on my comments to view them. Although the comments said there were 70 comments, when I clicked into it my post none of the comments were visible. Then I went to a previous post and only a few of the comments showed up there. How frustrating! I apologize if you did stop by and visit me and I could not get to you. Unfortunately I have no way of knowing who was here and who was not.

Anywho...on to today's post....Since it is Tuesday, it is time for another Midnight Madness Sketch!!!

Here is this weeks Sketch:

Once again, it's "YOUR PICK" Make it fancy, clean and simple, or somewhere in-between.

Here is my take on the sketch! I have two cards to share with you today since I created a card with both our monthly and weekly sponsors images today.

The first is a card I created using a Wags n Whiskers image available at Stamp and Create. Better yet....it is one of the stamps which is a product spotlight this week....so it is on sale for 25% off!!! This week's product spotlight is called an Easter sale but the stamps include much more than just Easter stamps!!! Click here to view some of the awesome images on sale for 25% off.

My creation is made with the Easter Blessings stamp set from Wags n Whiskers (Stamp and Create). It is one of my fave images illustrated by Crissy Armstrong!!

For my creation, I used Basic Grey Sugared Dp and I water colored my image with distress inks. The gorgeous beaded fringe lace, daisy spacers, and basic grey green pearls are also available at Stamp and Create. I just love the trim with the beads and pearls!! Isn't is delish?

Now on to my second creation with a Sunshine and Dragonflies stamp. I used a 2 1/4 inch Chocolate Dipped Strawberry cupcake stamp. After coloring it with Prisma color pencils and gamsol, I cut it apart like a puzzle, inked the edges and put it back together again. For some added interest I added a Penny Black mouse with a balloon to make it look like a real celebration.

I hope you are inspired by my two creations for this sketch and you too want to join the fun. We can't wait to see your creations!!

Today I have two takes on this sketch!! One more fun and the other more inspirational...The first card I created with some scrap Paper from SEI and the Wags N Whiskers New release Let's Go Team. I colored her in with water colors and used paper tole to give her dimension. For a fun twist on the bows of the sketch, I used fun fur to look more like pom poms.
My Second card uses the new release from Our Daily Bread Designs called Mom and the Vine Borders stamp set from last month. It is framed using a gold embossed Fleur De Lis Spellbinders die and Fancy Tags. The butterflies are created with the Martha Stewart Butterfly punch. The pearls are pink ZVA Creative flourishes. The paper is retired SU paper. I also made this card for Betty's Stamping In Time challenge at ODBD which is to use monochromatic colors.
