Seasons 1-7 of The Apprentice, hosted by President Donald J. Trump, began streaming on Prime Video today. Season 1 is available now, and subsequent seasons will drop every Monday through April 27.
“The Apprentice is one of the best shows that I ever produced,” series creator Mark Burnett said in a statement. “The charismatic onscreen presence of President Donald J. Trump made it a bona fide hit!”
President Trump in turn said, “I look forward to watching this show myself — such great memories, and so much fun, but most importantly, it was a learning experience for all of us!”

* Conan O’Brien Must Go has been renewed for Season 3 at Max, while Season 2 (premiering in May) has been reduced to three episodes and will see O’Brien travel to New Zealand, Austria and Spain.
* Lucy Punch (Motherland) has joined AMC and AMC+’s untitled Silicon Valley drama starring Billy Magnussen and Sarah Goldberg, our sister site Deadline reports. Punch will portray a tech CEO’s wife, “who is having a retaliatory affair after her own husband’s infidelity.”

Mine expired last week and I’m so glad they’re not getting my money right now.
Bezo is really sucking up
No need to besmirch the word “President” by putting it before his loathsome name. Unfortunately, we know who you’re referring to. For that matter, “The Apprentice” or anything else about him doesn’t even merit a mention here.
And then you add a quote from him regarding his own show. Ughck, revolting.
Isn’t the current President also a convicted felon? Funny how that accolade isn’t mentioned in the article.

Who is Helberg referring to? Was this a previous piece of casting news for the show, because they are not listed in this blurb?
Most likely referring to Simon Helberg who was previously announced as being cast in the series. I’m assuming they went to take a portion of the prior article describing the series and just used the wrong name from the snip.

Ugh, It was a terrible show when it first came out and will not have improved with time. Amazon is just so disappointing. It isn’t worth writing about either, TVLine, do better.
I have always blamed Mark Burnett for creating a show that convinced so many that the thrice married DT was a successful business man when he just a con artist who had been left some money and managed to bankrupt most of what he touched. It’s really hard to bankrupt your own casinos when the house always wins. A perfect example of someone who failed up and now has Bezos kissing his massive ass. jmo

I was hoping the movie would air before mu Prime ends April 2nd and was disappointed to see it was the TV show. I liked the first year contestants- especially Troy & Kwame – but found it painful to have to watch Trump. He was always the worst thing about that show.
That’s it. I’m canceling my Amazon Prime membership as soon as I can find local alternatives for the groceries and prescription drugs I get delivered in a day from Prime. I’m also selling my Tesla and buying a bicycle as soon as the snow melts here in Vermont so I don’t contribute to global warming. More people need to wake up, show courage, and hit these billion $ corporations where they hurt. Then maybe they’ll change and we can get another season of Transparent.
We get it, you want to sound like a parody of an American liberal. Such fun to be had, all while the world roils with the chaos wrought by this guy and his mobster goons. This isn’t a game, there aren’t teams to root for, this is real life and if you could take a step back and see that it’s not about watching some tv show about queer people and riding a bike, but actually figuring out real life solutions rather than messing around like children then that would be really great. Thanks.

What an opportunity to watch the rise-to-fame of Groenland, Panama and Canada’s famous conquerer. Like a modern-era Inglourious Basterds’ cinema scene but you can set your own house on fire.

Darn it! I was trying so hard not to cancel Prime! I can’t support any platform that gives tRump a chance to look normal and not weird.
