CBS is gifting its audience with a wide array of holiday programming in the months ahead.
Already, TVLine gave you an exclusive first look at the freshman sitcom Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage‘s Thanksgiving/Young Sheldon reunion episode, which airs Thursday, Nov. 14 at 8/7c.
Now, CBS has unwrapped their complete plan for the holiday season, and it includes Nugget Is Dead? A Christmas Story, an Aussie telepic from the creative team behind Colin From Accounts (airing Thursday, Nov. 21 at 8 pm); the animated Reindeer in Here, based on the award-winning book by Adam Reed (Saturday, Nov. 30 at 8 pm); the concert special An Evening With Dua Lipa, filmed last week in London (airing Sunday, Dec. 15 at 8:30 pm); and the stand-up comedy special Nate Bargatze’s Nashville Christmas (Thursday, Dec. 19 at 9 pm).
You can also tune in for the National Christmas Tree Lighting in Washington D.C. (airing Friday, Dec. 20 at 8 pm), Josh Groban & Friends Go Home for the Holidays (Friday, Dec. 20 at 9 pm), the 47th Annual Kennedy Center Honors (honoring Francis Ford Coppola, The Grateful Dead, Bonnie Raitt, Arturo Sandoval and The Apollo, and airing Sunday, Dec. 22 at 8:30 pm), and a “Holiday Heroes” edition of The Price Is Right at Night (Tuesday, Dec. 24 at 8 pm).

“Gold, Frankincense, and Murder”
Celebrity Christmas curators DeeDee (SNL vet Vanessa Bayer) and Dirk Dashers go from tinsel to tragedy after Dirk is killed in a freak accident, and Elsbeth begins to suspect his wife is behind the murder. Also, Elsbeth gets a holiday surprise courtesy of Wagner (Wendell Pierce) and Kaya (Carra Patterson).

“Slay Ride”
A joyous and merry Christmas turns dark when McCall (Queen Latifah), Dante (Tory Kittles) and Miles (Stephen Bishop) find themselves held hostage in a hospital that’s been taken over by the cartel.

“A Very Arondekar Christmas,” Parts 1 and 2
A leaky water heater mishap threatens to ruin holiday plans as Sam and Jay prepare to host Jay’s hard-to-please dad (Silicon Valley‘s Bernard White), difficult-to-impress mom (Timeless‘ Sakina Jaffrey) and sister Bela (returning guest star Punam Patel).

I can’t believe network TV is actually bringing back Christmas episodes. I feel like it’s been forever.
Seeing both NCIS’s having Christmas episodes again is amazing!!
Glad they’re having a holiday episode for NCIS again. Origins sounds interesting well all know the fixed points Gibbs lost his family, Gibbs went down south and handled Hernandez and four months later the show started off with Gibbs an NIS probie so it sounds like they will explain what happens in between.
Too bad all these shows will be moving to Paramount when President Trump gets back in office. Say bye bye to CBS and ABC. Surprised they are saying Merry Christmas. I guess trying to find a way back on President Trump’s good side. Too little, too late.
The correct title is Former President Trump. And hopefully he stays that way.
Glad to have Christmas episodes! I’m most interested in seeing NCIS Origins first Christmas. This would be a great time to see Leroy Jethro Gibbs again, celebrating by the fire with maybe some good memories!
I wonder what a Criminal Minds Christmas episode would look like.
