Farah Khan is about to go on a new journey as the host of Celebrity MasterChef, a cooking-based reality show. Aside from her, the show will feature famous chefs
Vikas Khanna and
Ranveer Brar, who will judge the participants' cooking talents and meals. Ahead of its premiere, the Happy New Year director took to Instagram to provide a glimpse of her lively banter with the show's two chefs on the set.
Farah shared a clip with her Insta fam talking about her upcoming venture, she said, “Hi Guys, welcome to MasterChef. Jaise ki aap jaante hain is saal main MasterChef kar rhi hun kyunki kya zaroort hai itne bade diggaj Chefs ki. Abi Chef Vikas Khanna ji ayenge, unko abi Michelin Gourmand star mila hai unke restaurant ko, wo aenge fir humpr haavi honge. (As you know, this year I am doing MasterChef because what is the need for such big and legendary Chefs? Now Chef Vikas Khanna will come, he has got a Michelin Gourmand star for his restaurant, he will come again and will dominate us)."
Farah then added, “Then Chef Ranveer Brar, he will come he will give a history of food. Matlab khaana waise hi pak jayega gas jalaane ki bhi zaroort nahi pdegi. Isse behtar hai mujhe leliya, kitne logon ko khaana khilaya hai maine set pe. (This means the food will be cooked as it is and there will be no need to burn gas. It’s better the makers chose me for the show, how many people have I fed on the set.)"
Furthermore, after hearing what the director-choreographer had to say about them, the two Chefs approached her from behind and tapped her shoulder. Farah abruptly exits the video, stating, "Han sir, aayi (Yes sir, coming)," leaving the duo in splits.
As the video progresses, we see Vikas and Ranveer having problems introducing the crowd to the show. The Michelin 2024 Bib Gourmand Awarded Chef continued, "Isiliye hume zaroorat hai Farah ki, co-ordinate karade humko (That is why we need Farah to help us coordinate)."
The show will feature celebrities such as
Tejasswi Prakash, Rajiv Adatia, Gaurav Khanna, Dipika Kakkar, Shoaib Ibrahim, and
Chandan Prabhakar.
