The TV show Apollena – Sapno Ki Unchi Udann, which hit the tube on December 3 last year, is set to conclude next month. The final episode is expected to air on March 15. Aditi Sharma, who plays the central character, confirms, “Yes, the show is ending. The production team initially wanted to wrap up shooting by February 26, but that timeline seems unlikely because we don’t have a bank of episodes, and we’re shooting almost every day for a seven-day telecast. I believe March 10 will be the last day of the shoot, and I’ve heard March 15 or March 17 will be the final episode.”

She adds, “I really wanted Apollena to succeed because it offered a unique concept. We stuck with the core idea for a long time, unlike other shows that tend to stray from their original premise within a week. We tried to deliver what we promised, but unfortunately, the audience still craves the same old formulas. While many are watching it on the OTT platform, which also impacts the TRPs, at the end of the day, those numbers matter. Also, a more suitable time slot for this kind of show would have been 8:30 or 9 pm.”
The show will have run just over three months before its conclusion. Reflecting on the premature endings of many TV shows today, Aditi, who has been a part of Kaleerein, Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka, and Rabb Se Hai Dua, comments, “Every show has its own destiny. Shows used to run longer, but now many are being cut short before they connect with the audience. It’s unfortunate, but I believe an ending marks the start of something new and better. I was upset when I left Rabb Se Hai Dua, but I landed Khatron Ke Khiladi. Similarly, I was disappointed when my journey in Khatron ended, but then I joined Apollena. That’s the way an actor’s career unfolds. I love this profession because it offers constant change and new energy. Each new project brings fresh challenges, new people to work with, and exciting opportunities. I’m eager for new projects and better work. My time on the show was enjoyable, and I truly cherished it.”
