One of the rarest and most magnificent big cats are white lions, and although there aren't many of these amazing animals in the wild, tourists may see them up close in a number of wildlife parks and zoos throughout the world.

The best opportunities to witness white lions in their natural environment are found in Kruger National Park and the neighbouring Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve. Although they are uncommon, white lion sightings are still occasionally reported in Kruger.
