Elon Musk's AI company, xAI, has introduced Grok 3, the latest version of its chatbot. Designed to rival OpenAI’s ChatGPT, China’s DeepSeek, and other AI models, Grok 3 reportedly offers 10 times the computational power of its predecessor. Speaking via video call at the World Governments Summit in Dubai, Musk highlighted its advanced capabilities, stating, "At times, I think Grok 3 is scary smart."
Grok 3 chatbot is said to run on xAI’s Colossus supercomputer, which reportedly utilizes over 100,000 Nvidia GPU hours to train AI models. Musk highlighted that the system was developed in just over eight months.
After the launch, Musk posted on microblogging site X noting “The @xAI Grok 3 release will improve rapidly every day this week. Please report any issues as a reply to this post.” Google CEO Sundar Pichai replied to Musk’s post. He said “Congrats on the progress! look forward to trying it out”.

Grok 3 availability and how to use

Grok 3 is rolling out to Premium Plus subscribers on X, starting today. “Make sure to update your X app to explore all the advanced features, as we’ve just released the update,” the tech billionaire noted.
Adding further, he said “we’re launching a separate subscription called Super Grok for dedicated fans who want the most advanced capabilities and earliest access to new features. This is available for both the Grok app and our new website, grok.com.”
“If you’re looking for a more polished version, it might be worth waiting a week, but expect improvements every day. We’re also working on a voice interaction feature so you can have a conversational experience. I tried it earlier today, and it’s working pretty well, though it still needs some polish. The goal is to make it so you can talk to it just like you would a person. I think it’s going to be one of the best experiences with Grok3, but that should be about a week away,” Elon Musk added.
