Jey Uso was the obstacle before him that cost him the championship. In the September 23 episode of Monday Night Raw, the main event title match eventually favored Jey Uso, who secured the win by defeating Breakker.
Jey Uso claims victory against Bron Breakker
Fans were highly excited for the Jey Uso vs.
Bron Breaker match as the formidable forces set to collide in the Red Brand. In his first singles championship, Jey Uso stood up to his A-game. As the bell rang, there was a huge "YEET" chant from fans cheering for the popular babyface. He starts with a waistlock and transitions to a headlock, but Bron Breakker quickly takes control, knocking Uso down with a shoulder tackle. After a brief back-and-forth, Uso sends Breakker out of the ring with an uppercut and follows up with a suicide dive, getting the crowd chanting “YEET” again.

Breakker then drives Uso into the corner with shoulder thrusts before whipping him hard into the opposite turnbuckle. The impact leaves Uso crumpled in pain, but he fights back with some right hands before Breakker cuts him off again with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex.
Breakker starts taunting the crowd and stretches Uso out on the mat. Uso manages to fight up, but Breakker blocks his suplex attempts and hits a front suplex, dropping Uso onto the top rope. Breakker continues to pummel Uso, even taking a moment to do push-ups mid-match, showing that he’s not taking the challenger seriously. Uso struggles to his feet, but Breakker mocks him and shoves him back down.
In a burst of energy, Uso powers Breakker into the corner and catches him off guard with a quick snap kick to the head. He clotheslines Breakker out of the ring, riling up the crowd again. Uso attempts another suicide dive, but this time Breakker counters with a punch to the face. Breakker then drags Uso to the commentary table and finishes the sequence by hitting a diving bulldog off the apron, smashing Uso onto the table.
Finally, Uso takes Breakker in the ring and perfectly delivers a Spear through his guts, Uso then quickly climbs the top rope and hit a Uso Splash and secures the Intercontinental title via pinfall.
