WWE Monday Night Raw Results and Highlights: CM Punk, Gunther, Rey Mysterio vs. Xavier Woods and more

The latest Monday Night Raw featured several riveting matches, including Xavier Woods defeating Rey Mysterio and Zoey Stark triumphing over Lyra Valkyria. Promos from CM Punk and Drew McIntyre heightened anticipation for their Hell in a Cell match at WWE Bad Blood. The event also showcased the Judgment Day's win over LWO, and confrontations involving Sami Zayn, Gunther, and others.

The September 30 edition of Monday Night Raw holds specialty on several grounds, the three-hour format ended with the episode and it was the last episode before WWE’s upcoming PLE Blad Blood scheduled for October 5. The latest episode of the flagship WWE show had a series of match cards booked with several interesting segments. Here are the highlights and the results of the September 30 edition of the Red Brand.

September 30 Raw results and highlights

A series of match cards including Xavier Woods vs.
1x1 polls
Rey Mysterio, Zoey Stark vs. Lyra Valkyria, The Judgment Day vs. The LWO in a 6-Man Tag Team Match, Chad Gable vs. Kofi Kingston, The Authors of Pain vs. The Awesome Truth in a Tag Team Match scheduled at the event. On top of that, CM Punk and Drew McIntyre delivered a promo, Sami Zayn and Gunther Promo, and Jey Uso’s appearance were the event's highlight.

In the brief segment, the new Intercontinental Champion appeared on the Red Brand. While celebrating his victory Bron Breakker interrupted but he did not attack the “Main Event” or refrained from talking trash instead shook his hands in the middle of the ring.
Rey Mysterio vs. Xavier Woods
The match started with Woods twisting Mysterio’s arm, but Mysterio flipped through and countered. Woods hit a dropkick and tried to control the pace, but Mysterio fought back with a head-scissor and a flying seated senton.


After more back-and-forth action, Mysterio set up for a 619, but Woods dodged. In the chaos, Woods accidentally ripped off Mysterio’s mask and quickly rolled him up for the win.
Result: Xavier Woods defeated Rey Mysterio
Lyra Valkyria vs. Zoey Stark
The match began with Stark powering Valkyria into the corner and hitting shoulder thrusts, but Valkyria fought back with an arm drag and a shoulder tackle. After exchanging strikes, Valkyria hit a hurricanrana and an enzuigiri for a near fall.
Stark went for the Z-360, but Valkyria blocked it with a German Suplex. Deville interfered, distracting the referee. Stark delivered a Z-360 for the win.
Result: Zoey Stark defeated Lyra Valkyria via pinfall.
CM Punk and Drew McIntyre promo
Adam Pearce stood in the ring with security guards, announcing the Hell in a Cell match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre for Saturday at Bad Blood. Punk arrived first, touching the steel structure, followed by McIntyre, who insulted Punk and predicted his downfall. McIntyre claimed Punk’s wife would leave him after the match.
Punk responded by saying McIntyre had turned him into a monster. He vowed to send McIntyre home in a box and promised that McIntyre would be praying to him when it was all over, “I will see you in hell!” Punk said.
6-Man Tag Team Match: LWO vs. The Judgment Day
Cruz Del Toro started strong against JD McDonagh, hitting him with a diving cross-body before Joaquin Wilde tagged in. Wilde hit McDonagh with a neckbreaker, accidentally DDTing Carlito. Dragon Lee joined in with a splash on Mysterio and a hurricanrana on McDonagh.

Later, after stereo suicide dives from Del Toro and Lee, Finn Bálor interfered, knocking Wilde off the top rope. McDonagh capitalized, hitting the Devil Inside for the win.
Result: The Judgment Day with the win via pinfall
Following the match The Terror Twins’ Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest engaged in a brawl with The Judgment Day but fell victim to the the numbers game.
Kofi Kingston vs. Chad Gable
The match began with Gable taking Kingston down with a waistlock. Kingston fought back, hitting a dropkick and a slingshot splash for a near fall. Gable regained control with a German Suplex on the floor and a diving head-butt.
In the end, after Kingston missed Trouble in Paradise, Woods accidentally tripped Gable, causing Kingston to crash. Gable took advantage and hit Chaos Theory for the win.
Result: Chad Gable defeated Kofi Kingston via pinfall.
Sami Zayn and Gunther face-off
Gunther entered the ring and Zayn confronted him, demanding a World Heavyweight Championship match, claiming Gunther feared him after their WrestleMania encounter. Gunther admitted the loss to Zayn embarrassed him in front of his family.
The confrontation escalated, leading to Gunther attacking Zayn. After a brutal Powerbomb, Gunther granted Zayn his title match. As Gunther walked away, Zayn sat up, confidently saying, "I got you!"
The Awesome Truth vs. Authors of Pain
R-Truth charged Rezar with shoulder tackles and hit a back suplex powerbomb followed by the 5 Knuckle Shuffle. However, he couldn’t lift Rezar for the Attitude Adjustment, leading to Rezar hitting a Dominator.

When Miz tagged in, he betrayed R-Truth by booting him in the head, laughing alongside Karrion Kross. The Authors of Pain then hit R-Truth with What a Rush for the win, though Truth wasn’t the legal man.
Result: The Authors of Pain defeated The Awesome Truth via pinfall.
Braun Strowman vs. Bronson Reed in a Last Monster Standing Match
Before the bell rang, Strowman clotheslined Reed, sending him into the steel steps and Chokeslamming him through the announce table. Reed regained control during the break but crashed through a chair setup after a Strowman shoulder block.

Later, Reed hit a Superplex, collapsing the ring. Seth Rollins intervened with a Curb Stomp, helping Strowman secure the win.
Result: Braun Strowman with the win.
