John Cena is one of the biggest WWE legends of all time. On his journey to become the greatest of all time, Cena was romantically involved with many female WWE superstars from different eras during his long tenure.
John Cena is recognised all over the world as one of the biggest WWE superstars of all time. The kid from West New Bury, Massachusetts, came in as a regular wrestler and made himself into one of the biggest draws WWE has ever seen. However, it was not only a journey of professional success, but great luck for John Cena when it came to attractive females in the company.
Over his decade and a half tenure, Cena was part of multiple eras that went by. During each of those eras, The Champ was linked or confirmed to be romantically involved with some of the top female WWE superstars of all time.

4. Victoria

During the early stages of his rise as the top star of WWE, John Cena was reportedly involved in a relationship with Victoria. She was one of the top stars in the women’s division in the Ruthless Aggression era. The duo was together for some time. However, the relationship was kept under wraps, and there was no information regarding their split as well.

3. Mickie James

The speculation regarding John Cena’s relationship with Mickie James came during the late 2000s. The duo were featured in various storylines and shared a lot of screen space on WWE television programming. Moreover, while none of them actually ever confirmed the relationship, it was assumed to be the reason Cena’s first wife, Elizabeth Huberdeau, divorced him in 2012. Cena moved on to other relationships, while James found love in current SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis, with whom she later married, and they have a son together.

2. AJ Lee

Another relationship that was heavily rumored after John Cena’s divorce in 2012 was with AJ Lee. The duo were featured in a romantic onscreen storyline on WWE TV, and many speculated that it translated into a real-life romance. However, things seemingly came to an end shortly before November 2012, as Cena moved to a highly public relationship, and AJ Lee got married to CM Punk in 2014.

1. Nikki Bella

One of the most publicized relationships John Cena had was with WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella. It was revealed in 2013 and featured heavily on Total Divas, documenting various aspects of their relationship. The couple even got engaged in real life at WrestleMania 33 in 2017. However, things fell apart between the duo as they both wanted different things in life. This led to Cena and Nikki having a tearful breakup in 2018, just a month before they were set to tie the knot. While John Cena went on to get married to engineer Shay Shariatzadeh in 2020, Nikki married Dancing With The Stars fame Artem Chigvinstev. But it was a much more tragic ending for Nikki this time, as she filed domestic violence and battery charges against Artem and divorced him in 2024.
