After having one of the best rivalries against Drew McIntyre the entire year, WWE superstar CM Punk is in the middle of a heated feud with arch rival
Seth Rollins. While he’s set to collide against the “Visionary” on the Netflix Premiere of RAW, some concrete WrestleMania 41 plans for the “Second City Saint” have been unearthed. Rumor has it that the former WWE World Champion will be involved in the world title scene at the grandest stage of them all, in 2025.
Grand plans for WrestleMania 41 have well and truly begun to take place by the WWE and CM Punk is believed to be one of the centre points of the yearly spectacle. Currently, indulged in a heated and highly awaited rivalry with Seth Rollins, Punk is seen as a major ticket seller by the WWE and fans across the world. The original plans for the “Survivor Series” PLE was to pit Punk against WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, but that didn’t come to fruition. Recently, in the backstage pass question and answer session, according to WrestleVotes, the top management indeed wants to have Punk compete for a World Title at WrestleMania next year.
Notably, the original plans for CM Punk versus Rollins were being made for WrestleMania XL last year, but due to injuries to both Punk and Rollins, that plan did not materialize. Now, after having enjoyed the highly successful feud against the “Scottish Warrior” Drew McIntyre and helping Roman Reigns against Solo Sikoa at the Survivor Series WarGames, all the original plans regarding Punk will get materialized. “I’ve heard so many things on Punk, especially as of late with the Roman Reigns stuff being thrown in there. But the main factor that I’ve heard almost all year, is they want him to be involved in a World Title match. I don’t know how the puzzle pieces are going to fit, but they want him at the top” was the opinion of Wrestlevotes in the backstage Q&A.
