Sidney Crosby has shown his talent as he led Team Canada to win the match against Team Finland on Monday. Currently, the team is soaking in the win against the Team USA in the 4 Nations Face Off. But there was something that fans were worried about before the match and it is not related to his performance - it is about his emotional state of mind.

Sidney Crosby Is Taking The Passing Of Mike Lange “Pretty Hard” And Fans Are Worried About Him

Josh Yohe of The Athletic recently made a post on X about Sidney Crosby that has shocked fans, hours before the 4 Nations Face Off final match against Team USA. As per Josh Yohe’s post on X, he had a conversation with the captain of Team Canada and Sidney Crosby is taking the passing of Pittsburgh Penguins broadcaster Mike Lange “pretty hard”.

Josh Yohe also added that the Pittsburgh Penguins broadcaster had a “special relationship” with Sidney Crosby and other stars of the team, so the loss must be very difficult to get through for them.
Fans are heartbroken at the loss of Mike Lange and many are worried about Sidney Crosby’s emotional state. A fan wrote, “A very sad huge loss. One of the greatest Pittsburgh sports announcers. Making all Pens games comes alive. Wonderful and memorable slogans”.
Another fan wrote, “One of my first thoughts was whether this would be weighing on Sid tomorrow during the game, and obviously it will be. Maybe he'll get his first four-goal game ever?”

A third fan sympathised with the Pittsburgh Penguins’ players and wrote, “Never been to Pittsburgh. Life long Pens fan. I'm taking this hard. I can't imagine how hard for the people that knew him.”
Many fans also believed that this might give “extra” motivation for Sidney Crosby to win the final against Teaam USA. A fan echoing the same emotion wrote, “Terrible loss for their hockey community. Now extra motivation for Sid to go out and win tomorrow night, and honor his friend.”
Mike Lange had a 46 year long career as a broadcaster for the Pittsburgh Penguins and had a huge fan following. Unfortunately, the legend passed away at 76 years of age at his home on 19th February. Fans and colleagues are currently mourning for him.
