Taylor Swift was a “loyal friend” to Blake Lively and now wants to stay away from Justin Baldoni drama days after Super Bowl

It has been a pretty tough time for Taylor Swift ever since she got booed at the Super Bowl 2025 when her boyfriend, Travis Kelce’s team, the Kansas City Chiefs lost the trophy to the Philadelphia Eagles. To make matters worse for Taylor Swift, she has also gotten involved in the controversy between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni even though she has not been sued but now there is a new twist to the story.


A source to the billionaire pop star has revealed to Page Six that she wants to pull away from her friendship with Blake Lively because she is “hurt”. The source said, “Taylor wants nothing to do with this whole ordeal. She has always been a loyal friend to Blake and doesn’t appreciate being thrown into this at all.”
This is also evident since the two have not been spotted in public since the controversy began in December. Many fans expected to spot Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds at the Super Bowl but unfortunately, neither of them was spotted with Taylor Swift.
As per Page Six’s source, “Taylor is really hurt by this whole situation and feels like a pawn.”
For the unversed, when Blake Lively accused her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni of sexual harassment, he filed a counter lawsuit against her and sued her and Ryan Reynolds for $400 million. Due to this, Justin Baldoni released some texts that were exchanged between Blake Lively and him when their blockbuster movie was being shot.
In one of the texts that was released by Justin Baldoni, Blake Lively had referred to herself as “Khaleesi” and called Taylor Swift her “dragon”. This could be one of the strong reasons why Taylor Swift feels like a “pawn” as per Page Six.

Taylor Swift’s loyal fanbase has not left her side as many people have slammed her and supported Justin Baldoni. Many of Taylor Swift’s fans have also slammed Blake Lively for intentionally involving her in a drama that had nothing to do with her.

Recently, Blake Lively made her first public appearance on the red carpet of the SNL show amidst her legal drama with Justin Baldoni. This is in complete contrast to Taylor Swift’s situation who missed her close friend, Danielle Haim’s birthday party recently.
Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce have not been spotted since the two got heavily trolled at the Super Bowl 2025. After the game, Travis Kelce appeared heartbroken and rushed to catch up with Taylor Swift. Taylor's absence from the public eye has also worried her fans .
