Hailee Steinfeld reacts as Josh Allen gets asked out on a date during their appearance at NFL Honors

Hailee Steinfeld has been in a pretty happy relationship with her NFL star fiance, Josh Allen for close to two years now. Recently, the two turned heads at the NFL Honors 2025 where Josh Allen won the MVP award with Hailee Steinfeld by his side. But now, in one of the pictures and videos that have gone viral, it seems like Hailee Steinfeld might just face tough competition for her love for Josh Allen.


In a viral video, Josh Allen is seen walking the red carpet with his fiancee, Hailee Steinfeld when an elderly lady approaches him. Dressed in blue, the elderly lady’s face is not visible but she shakes hands with Josh Allen and says, “Hi sexy! How about going on a date?”
Hailee Steinfeld ignores this and moves forward but Josh Allen looks visibly shocked at this proposal by the elderly lady and says, “You say what?” The elderly lady repeats herself and says, “I wanna go on a date”. Hearing this Josh Allen replies, “You wanna go on a date? You might have to fight my fiancee for that”
The elderly lady then says, “Well, I wanna go to a nursing home” and Josh Allen says, “I got you”. While it is not confirmed what really happened after this, fans found this interaction pretty hilarious.
A fan took to X and wrote, “Hailee ignoring it took me out HAHAH”, while another fan wrote, “Not me imagining Hailee fighting with the grandma for Josh 🤣🤣”

A third fan wrote, “not him dragging hailee into committing elderly abuse for him LMAOO”.
While Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen have not reacted to this yet, fans believe that the elderly lady has the power to “steal” Josh from Hailee.

Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen are one of the most loved couples in the world of NFL. The two got engaged in November 2024 and since then, they have been spotted out in public pretty often since then.
The two turned heads at the NFL Honors 2025 with Hailee Steinfeld looking stunning in a black strapless dress with short hair. Josh Allen looked handsome in a black tuxedo. The couple stole hearts when Josh Allen credited his fiancee, Hailee Steinfeld when he won the MVP award.
Josh Allen said, "And last but not least, my fiancée, Hailee. You’ve been my rock. You are my best friend [and] I would not be standing on this stage if it weren’t for you. So, with that being said, be good, do good, God bless and Go Bills."
Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld are yet to announce their wedding dates in public. They opened up about their relationship more after getting engaged and Hailee Steinfeld has often been spotted cheering on for Josh this season.
It also seems like Hailee Steinfeld might have shifted to Buffalo temporarily as she was often spotted hanging out there.
