Mercedes’ Toto Wolff announced a collaboration with the Qiddiya Investment Company
The Mercedes team principal, Toto Wolff, made a major announcement for the upcoming calendar of the Formula 1 team with respect to its expansion in the Middle Eastern market. Wolff issued a statement that clearly mentioned the expansion plans of Mercedes and a collaboration with a prominent Saudi Arabia-based company, Qiddiya Investment Company. The Mercedes’ principal’s statement stated:
"We are incredibly excited to announce this major new collaboration with Qiddiya Investment Company, formalizing a relationship that has been years in the making. Formula 1 is a unique sport, and we have been working with world-leading experts for several years to ensure that this venue gets fans closer to our team, and the sport as a whole, than ever before.”While talking about the investment company Qiddiya, Toto Wolff further stated,
"Qiddiya City is a cornerstone of the ambitious Vision 2030 plans, and it’s set to become a unique motorsport destination like no other. We are proud to play our part in this and look forward to welcoming our local and international fans in the years ahead.”Based on the statement provided by Wolff, the German motorsport giant is looking forward to constructing a World of Performance center as a tribute to Mercedes-AMG, which is likely to open its gates by 2030. According to the press release, the center will not only celebrate the history and the legacy of Mercedes-AMG but also deliver an unparalleled authentic and great experience.
The departure of Lewis Hamilton from Mercedes not only left his fans devastated and sad but also diverted all the cameras around the world on the global motorsport fraternity Formula 1.
