Five-time champions Mumbai Indians will kick off their IPL 2025 campaign against Chennai Super Kings in Chennai on March 23. MI, led by Hardik Pandya, will play 14 league matches, including double fixtures against teams such as Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad, before the playoffs commence on May 20.

NEW DELHI: Five-time champions Mumbai Indians will begin their IPL 2025 season against Chennai Super Kings at Chennai's MA Chidambaram Stadium on March 23.
The return fixture between MI and CSK is scheduled for April 20 at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium.
Mumbai's league stage schedule includes double encounters with CSK, Gujarat Titans, Lucknow Super Giants, Delhi Capitals, and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

MI, under Hardik Pandya's leadership, had a disappointing 2024 season, finishing at the bottom of the table with just eight points from 14 matches.
IPL 2025's league phase will feature 70 matches, with each team playing 14 games.
The playoffs are scheduled from May 20 to May 25, with Qualifier 1 and Eliminator matches taking place at Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on May 20 and 21 respectively.
The tournament will conclude at Kolkata's Eden Gardens, which will host both Qualifier 2 and the final.
