Pakistan will host their first major cricket tournament in almost three decades in the form of the ICC Champions Trophy. The move has been hailed as a landmark achievement by the country, just a few years after they were off-limits because of security fears.
Pakistan will stage the Champions Trophy in three cities (Lahore, Rawalpindi and Karachi) over the two-and-a-half weeks. However, India's matches will be held in Dubai due to BCCI's reluctance in travelling to the neighbours due to safety concerns.
India and Pakistan, placed in Group A, will square off on Sunday (February 23) in Dubai in what is expected to be a blockbuster of an affair - as it always is between these two sides.
