KANPUR: As the Green Park Stadium faces severe criticism after play on Days Two and Day Three in the second Test was washed out,
BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla said the stadium was in need of upgradation in terms of technology.
"The Green Park Stadium is a heritage venue. It is governed by the state government. I have spoken to authorities and informed that they have to upgrade the ground and get technology to make playing conditions better," Shukla said.

We get criticized when we don't allot matches in Kanpur. And now that we have done that, we are copping criticism. But you can't blame the stadium. No game has been abandoned here," he said.
