PM Modi in Delhi Live: RRTS inauguration by PM Modi a symbol of AAP's dedication to Delhiites, says Kejriwal

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for a series of infrastructure and healthcare projects worth over Rs 12,200 crore in Delhi, marking a significant milestone in the capital's development.

The event's centerpiece was the inauguration of the 13-km Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Namo Bharat corridor, running between Sahibabad and New Ashok Nagar. Built at a cost of Rs 4,600 crore, this high-speed corridor promises reliable and comfortable travel, reducing transit times for commuters and benefiting millions across Delhi and Meerut.

The Prime Minister also unveiled the 2.8-km Janakpuri-Krishna Park Metro section of Delhi Metro Phase-IV, constructed for Rs 1,200 crore. As the first segment of Phase-IV to be operational, it significantly enhances connectivity in West Delhi, easing congestion in areas like Krishna Park, Vikaspuri, and Janakpuri.

Furthering metro expansion, PM Modi laid the foundation stone for the 26.5-km Rithala-Kundli section of Delhi Metro Phase-IV, valued at Rs 6,230 crore. This line will connect Delhi to Nathupur in Haryana, benefiting regions such as Rohini, Bawana, and Narela while improving links between Delhi, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh.

Additionally, the foundation stone for the Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CARI) building in Rohini, costing Rs 185 crore, was also laid. This state-of-the-art facility is set to advance Ayurveda research and healthcare in India.
