NEW DELHI: Congress will hold its All India Congress Committee (AICC) session in Ahmedabad on April 8 and 9 to deliberate on the challenges posed by the governing BJP's "anti-people" policies and its "relentless attacks" on the Constitution as well as for charting the party's future course of action.
AICC general secretary KC Venugopal said an extended Congress Working Committee meeting will be held on the first day, followed by the AICC delegates' meeting on the second. The session will be chaired by party president Mallikarjun Kharge and attended by Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, CMs, AICC office-bearers and AICC delegates, he said.
"The upcoming session will serve not only as a platform for crucial deliberations but also as a reaffirmation of Congress's collective resolve to address the concerns of common people and present a strong alternative vision for the nation," he said.
