'GOAT' OTT release: Venkat Prabhu clarifies on the film's uncut version

'GOAT' aka 'The Greatest Of All Time' featuring Vijay in the lead role was released in theatres on September 5, and the commercial entertainer transformed into a huge hit at the box office. After storming the box office for nearly a month, 'GOAT' didn't take much time for its digital release, and the film is now available for streaming on a popular digital platform.But there was a confusion over the 'GOAT' digital version as the film's uncut version was said to be released on OTT. 'GOAT' director Venkat Prabhu took to social media to clarify and wrote: "For director’s cut lotta VFX and final work required guys!! So, I will talk to my producers @Ags_production and release it as deleted scenes or an extended cut in da coming future!!! Now enjoy this version!!".

So, the theatrical version of 'GOAT' is now streaming in multiple languages on the OTT platform. The uncut version will be uploaded on a later date or it will be released as deleted scenes on special occasions. Meanwhile, fans, who waited for the uncut version of 'GOAT', are disappointed and their wait continues.
Venkat Prabhu's directorial 'GOAT' features Vijay in a dual role as father and son with Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Sneha, Mohan, Jayaram, Ajmal, Yogi Babu, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Vaibhav, and Premgi Amaren among others in crucial roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja scored the music, and the action entertainer is clash between Vijay's dual avatars. Vijay impressed fans through his versatility, while his negative role engraved fans more.
After 'GOAT' all eyes are on 'Thalapathy 69' which is reportedly the final film of superstar Vijay.
