Bollywood actor
Govinda earlier made a bold confession about being attracted to his Shola Aur Shabnam co-star,
Divya Bharti.
In a throwback interview with Stardust, the actor admitted that he found Divya sensuous and had to resist her charm, acknowledging that his wife, Sunita Ahuja, might not be pleased with his statement.
“Well, I am a firm believer in destiny. What has to happen, will happen. Yes, I like Juhi (Chawla) a lot. Even Divya Bharti. Divya is a very sensuous girl. It’s difficult for a man to resist her. I know Sunita is going to be very upset with all this. But she should know that I am still resisting Divya’s charms. I haven’t given in to the temptation as yet,” he had revealed.
Govinda and Divya Bharti starred together in the 1992 film Shola Aur Shabnam, which became one of the defining films of Divya’s short but impactful Bollywood career. The actress, known for her beauty and on-screen presence, was a rising star before her tragic death in 1993.
Interestingly, Govinda also made another shocking revelation in the same interview—he did not rule out the possibility of a second marriage. The actor shared that according to his horoscope (kundli), a second marriage was destined.
“Tomorrow, who knows, I may get involved again, and then, maybe I will marry the girl I get involved with. But Sunita should be prepared for it. Only then will I feel free. And there is a second marriage in my Kundli,” he had stated.
Despite his on-screen charm and romantic roles, the actor remained married to Sunita Ahuja, with whom he shares a long-standing relationship.
