Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is a true diva who perfectly embodies beauty with brains. Always poised and articulate, she handles tricky situations with grace. One such instance was when the Devdas actress was asked if she considers herself the most beautiful woman in the world. With tact, she instead named her daughter, Aaradhya.

In an old interview clip shared by a fan page, AishwaryaRai was asked a question by Anushka through a recorded video. Anushka wanted to know if Aishwarya considered herself the most beautiful woman in the world. Adding a twist, she asked Aishwarya to name the most beautiful woman, excluding her mother.


Being her clever self, Aishwarya gracefully answered the question by naming her daughter, Aaradhya.



She said, “Hi Anushka, very tricky because you have taken my mother out of the equation, but for a question like this, you cannot take a mother out of me. So, I would like to say that beauty is definitely in the eyes of the beholder and this beholder can’t but help seeing beauty nowadays in the face and in the eyes that I completely gaze into all the time and I am unabashedly, obsessively in love with my daughter. So for me, at this point in time, Aaradhya. It’s all Aaradhya for sure.”



Aishwarya’s deep love and protective nature for her daughter are well known. Aaradhya often accompanies her mother to major events, from the grand wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant to the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. The mother-daughter duo never fails to turn heads with their stunning appearances.

Aishwarya Rai married Abhishek Bachchan in 2007, and in 2011, they welcomed their daughter, Aaradhya.
