Shanaya Kapoor is making her acting debut in 'Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan,' where she stars alongside
Vikrant Massey. The film, which is based on
Ruskin Bond’s short story 'The Eyes Have It,' has finished shooting. As reported by Peeping Moon, Shanaya portrays a theatre artist, while Massey plays a blind musician in the film.
Today, Kapoor shared a series of behind-the-scenes photos on her Instagram, offering glimpses from the sets of her debut film, 'Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan.'. She described the moment as "special," and the post quickly went viral. Fans expressed their excitement, with one writing, “Congratulations! Looking forward to seeing your hard work on screen," while another commented, “Shanaya cutie," along with numerous heart and fire emojis.

Santosh Singh, known for 'Broken But Beautiful' and 'Apharan,' 'Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan' features a screenplay by acclaimed writers Niranjan Iyengar and Mansi Bagla. Produced by Mansi and Varun Bagla's Mini Films, this marks their second collaboration with Vikrant Massey after the 'Forensic' remake. The film is targeting a mid-2025 release, although official confirmation is still pending.
Shanaya was supposed to debut in Karan Johar's film 'Bedhadak,' alongside Lakshya and Gurfateh Parizada, but the project was reportedly shelved for unknown reasons. She is also expected to appear in a 'Student of the Year' web series produced by Dharma Productions.
On the other hand, Vikrant is enjoying the success of his recent thriller, 'Sector 36,' which also stars Deepak Dobriyal. His next film, 'The Sabarmati Report,' is set to be released on November 15 and is directed by Dheeraj Sarna, featuring Raashii Khanna and Ridhi Dogra. Vikrant is also working on Rajkumar Hirani’s debut web series.
