The love triangle or as the Mere Husband Ki Biwi’s team said - love circle starring Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh hasn’t been able to impress the box office. It had a slow start and over its first weekend, the film continued to mint steady numbers close to the day 1 collection. After a 3 day run at the box office, the film has been able to mint a little over Rs. 4 crore.
Mere Husband Ki Biwi Movie Review
According to a Sacnilk report, after an opening day collection of ₹1.3 crore on Friday, the movie with mixed reactions, maintained a steady business by earning ₹1.7 crore on Saturday. As per the early estimates, on its first Sunday (day 3), the film collected ₹1.03 crore. So currently, the movie stands at a total of ₹4.23 crore.
It is worth noting that though the romantic comedy was released a week after the release of ‘Chhaava,’ it continues to face tough competition from the Vicky Kaushal starrer historical drama. ‘Chhaava’ has emerged as the biggest opener and the first blockbuster of 2025 so far. In India, the movie has crossed Rs. 300 crore, and worldwide has surpassed Rs. 400 crore mark.
Commenting on this clash between ‘Chhaava’ and ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’ director Mudassar Aziz told Bollywood Hungama: "Sir, ‘Mera paigham mohabbat hai, jahan tak pahunche!’ What the film does in the presence or absence of Chhaava isn’t in my control. Putting my best foot forward to entertain people is the only thing that is in my control. I will always appeal to my families, my women audience, my humour lovers, and leave the rest to the Almighty."
