'Emergency' box office collection day 19: Kangana Ranaut starrer records its lowest on Tuesday

From Rani in ‘Queen’ to Jhansi ki rani in ‘Manikarnika’ Kangana Ranaut has made sure to bring the strongest and the meatiest female character on the big screen. In 2025, she brought Indira Gandhi, the first female Prime Minister of India after independence, on the silver screen with ‘Emergency.’ The movie which once was believed would never see the day’s light, was released on January 17, 2025. After 19 days of theatrical run, the film has recorded its lowest on Tuesday, according to the Sacnilk report. The movie which recently entered into the third week at the box office earned only Rs. 0.05 on Tuesday.

Emergency Movie Review
Owing to its subject, the film had to face its fair share of ups and downs. Despite all that, it had a decent opening at the box office. By the end of the first week, the film’s earnings were Rs 14.3 crore. It posed a significant challenge to competing films such as ‘Azaad,’ featuring Ajay Devgn along with newcomers Rasha Thandani and Aman Devgan, and ‘Game Changer,’ starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani. However, the film saw a decline in revenue during its second week, struggling to achieve even a full crore. On its third Monday, it garnered only Rs. 0.07 crore, and as per the early estimates on the following Tuesday, it made Rs. 0.05 crore, bringing its total earnings in India to Rs. 18.15 crore.
