The film where Vicky plays the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj has been received very well, across the country, especially in Maharashtra. The film has set a new benchmark in Vicky's career and also has now become his second highest grosser. His first highest grossing movie is 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' which had earned Rs 240 crore at the box office. Meanwhile, 'Raazi had made around Rs 121 crore and now 'Chhaava' has already crossed the record of 'Raazi'.
Chhaava Movie ReviewThe film crossed Rs 100 crore on the first three days. Meanwhile, it saw a dip on Monday and a drop of around 50 percent from Sunday. However, this is normal. Now there are reports that the film may be made tax-free in Maharashtra and it's also doing the best in this state. The Mumbai Dabbawala Association has made an appeal to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, requesting that 'Chhaava' be declared tax-free in the state.
While this will be Vicky Kaushal's second highest as the lifetime collection of 'Uri' is Rs 240 crore. This is the highest ever number for any of his movies, as in the first week, the collection of 'Uri' was not so much. Thus, 'Chhava' eventually can be expected to cross the lifetime collection of that film. For now, this can be called Vicky's biggest film so far.
