The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have extended the application deadline for 32,438 vacancies under Centralised Employment Notification (CEN 08/2024). Candidates can now apply until March 1, 2025, at rrbapply.gov.in. The selection process includes a Computer-Based Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Document Verification, and Medical Examination. The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have extended the application deadline for 32,438 Assistant and other posts. Interested candidates can now submit their applications by March 1 (11:59 pm) through the official website, rrbapply.gov.in. Initially, the deadline was set for February 22. These positions fall under the Centralised Employment Notification (CEN 08/2024) and are categorized at level 1 of the 7th CPC pay matrix.
For details on the distribution of vacancies by post and Railway zone, applicants can refer to Annexure B of the official notification.
The selection process will consist of four stages: a Computer-Based Test (CBT), a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification, and a Medical Examination. The CBT will feature 100 questions, and for each incorrect answer, one-third of the marks allotted to that question will be deducted. Candidates will have a total of 90 minutes to complete the exam.

RRB Application 2025: Steps to register

Candidates can follow the steps mentioned here to register for the RRB vacancies 2025.

Go to rrbapply.gov.in.

Choose the relevant Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) zone you want to apply for.

Click on the "New Registration" option.

Provide basic details such as name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID.

Generate and verify an OTP sent to your registered mobile number and email.

Fill in the application form

Select the railway zone and post you wish to apply for.

Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and required certificates as per the specifications mentioned in the notification.

Complete the payment through net banking, debit/credit card, or UPI.

Candidates from certain categories may be eligible for fee concessions.
Review and Submit: Carefully check all the details entered before final submission.
Click the "Submit" button to complete the registration process.
After submission, download and save the confirmation page for future reference.
