Kingpin of unauthorised construction lives in Thane, says MNS Leader Raju Patil
KALYAN: Amidst the threat of demolition of 65 illegal buildings in Dombivli following a High Court order, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader and former MLA Pramod (Raju) Patil, during a press conference, made a serious allegation that the mastermind behind unauthorized constructions resides in Thane.
According to Raju Patil, there is a chain in this 65 buildings issue. It includes municipal corporation officials, registration office officials, and bank officials. A bank loan cannot be given without a search report.
MNS Leader Patil said, "My clear allegation is that people from Thane are doing this." He made this serious allegation without naming chief minister Eknath Shinde and his son Shrikant Shinde.
He also said that if something happens to a celebrity, these people immediately sit in a car and go to meet them, and this is also right. They should definitely be met because they are precious people of our country.
But people's houses in Kalyan Dombivli are going to be demolished. You (Eknath Shinde) are the guardian minister and urban development minister of the district. Your son is the MP here. You should come here and meet the residents of 65 buildings.
Patil further said that sins are washed away by taking a dip in the Ganga. But here you will get more virtue.
On another side, taking a dig at UBT's Kalyan district president Dipesh Mhatre, who is raising the issue of 65 buildings from the opposition, Patil said that Dipesh Mhatre joined UBT six months ago. He is working well. I got a call from him that as an opposition party, everyone should come together. But I have a request to him. If he does not return to Shiv Sena (Shinde) in the next 6 months, I will stand behind him on this issue.
Patil said that the police are under pressure in this matter. The ward officer has a big responsibility. This is a big chain. Until their boss sitting in Thane takes a decision, no concrete action will be taken on this.
Patil said, "He should take this decision now ."
Raju Patil said that he hopes chief minister Devendra Fadnavis will take a proper decision about the people of 65 buildings on this issue.
