JAMMU: In a beautiful fusion of tradition, culture, and modern elegance, a video of an American bride dressed as Kashmiri bride has taken social media by storm.
The video, shared by Jammu-based makeup artist Sabiha Beig, features Paige Reilly, a Chicago-based woman, as she prepares for her mehendi function, showcasing the intricate beauty of Kashmiri bridal attire.

Dressed in a vibrant yellow lehenga by House of Masaba, the bride's soft glam look quickly captured the attention of netizens.
As Paige admired herself in the mirror, she joyfully responded, "I love it," her expressions echoing the sentiment.
The look was further enhanced by a long emerald necklace, traditional jhumkas, and a Kashmiri dejhoor—an iconic ornament worn by Kashmiri Pandit women — which gave her an ethereal, almost "Barbie Doll" appearance.
Sabiha Beig Butt, the makeup artist, has since refrained from sharing further details about the bride’s family but her Instagram post has gone viral, attracting numerous comments from online users.
One user compared Paige to the characters from Game of Thrones, specifically saying she resembled a Targaryen in Dornish with her platinum blonde hair.
"You look like ice princess," another user commented.
While most comments were filled with admiration for the bridal look, some users offered suggestions.
One noted, "Stunning, but would have expected a touch of black in the dress to contrast with the hair." Others showered the bride with compliments, praising her beauty and the flawless makeup. "The makeup is spot on and she looks so pretty," one user remarked, while another expressed, "I am obsessed with this look. What a beautiful bride!"
Amidst the praise, Paige herself joined the conversation on Instagram, offering heartfelt thanks to Sabiha Beig for making her feel truly special.
"You are amazing! I had no idea what I was doing and you made me feel incredible," she wrote, acknowledging the makeup artist for helping her achieve the traditional Indian bridal look.
