Traffic restrictions in Bhopal on February 23 for PM Narendra Modi’s visit – Check full details

In preparation for the Prime Minister’s visit to Bhopal on February 23, the city’s traffic police have implemented an extensive traffic diversion plan to ensure smooth movement and security. The plan, announced on Friday, includes temporary road closures, alternate routes, and restricted zones in key areas expected to witness high traffic congestion.
STATE HANGAR TO KUSHABHAU THAKRE CONVENTION CENTRE
Passenger buses (from 2:30 pm)
Buses from Indore and Ujjain to terminate at Halalpur Bus Stand.
NO ENTRY TO CITY
Buses from Rajgarh and Biaora heading towards Halalpur Bus Stand will be rerouted via Mubarakpur Bypass Trisection, Khajuri Bypass Trisection, and Bairagarh Road.
Buses from Rajgarh-Biaora to Nadra Bus Stand to follow the route via Mubarakpur Bypass Trisection, Gandhi Nagar Trisection, Karond, JP Nagar Trisection.
Goods vehicles, heavy, and commercial vehicles - Restricted (from 2:30 pm)
NO TRAFFIC:
Roshanpura Square to Polytechnic Square, Kamla Park, Retghat, VIP Road, Lalghati, Gandhi Nagar Trisection, and from Polytechnic Square to Gandhi Park Square.
RESTRICTED ROUTES
Gandhi Nagar Trisection, State Hanger, Lalghati, VIP Road, Retghat, Polytechnic.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES
Vehicles can travel via Bharat Mata Square, Bhadbhada Square, Sakshi Dhaba Trisection, Neelbad Trisection, Nathu Barkheda Road, Mugaliachap, Khajuri Road, Khajuri Bypass Trisection, and Mubarakpur Square.
No two-wheelers and four-wheelers (from 3:00 pm)
General traffic restricted on the Roshanpura Square to Polytechnic Square, Kamla Park, Retghat, VIP Road, Lalghati, Gandhi Nagar Trisection, and Polytechnic Square to Gandhi Park Square route.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES FOR GENERAL VEHICLES
Vehicles travelling towards Bairagarh, Raja Bhoj Airport, and Rajgarh-Biaora can take the Bharat Mata Square, Bhadbhada Square, Sakshi Dhaba Trisection, Neelbad, Nathu Barkheda Road, Khajuri Bypass Trisection, and Mubarakpur Square route.
Vehicles heading towards Sehore and Indore can take the Bhadbhada Square, Sakshi Dhaba Trisection, Neelbad, Ratibad, and Jhagariya route.
Additionally, vehicles from Bhopal city to Sehore, Indore, Rajgarh, Biaora, and Raja Bhoj Airport can use the route via Prabhat Square, and Gandhi Nagar Trisection.
