This year, there are five categories for session proposals

Backend UX and Editor Experience

This category focuses on improving the usability, accessibility, and overall user experience of the TYPO3 backend. Talks in this category should address how developers can enhance editor workflows, create more intuitive interfaces, and optimize content management efficiency. Topics may include UI/UX improvements, backend customization, dashboard optimizations, and innovative editor tools.


Standards and Best Practices

Quality matters! This category is for talks that provide insights into best practices and coding standards for TYPO3 development. Submissions should focus on topics such as clean code principles, security best practices, performance optimization, extension development, testing strategies, and long-term maintainability of TYPO3 projects.


Migration and Upgrades – How to and User Stories

Keeping TYPO3 projects up to date is crucial, but it comes with challenges. This category is for talks that guide developers through the migration and upgrade process. Contributions can include technical deep dives into upgrade strategies, automation tools, troubleshooting, case studies, and real-world lessons learned from complex TYPO3 migrations.


GenAI – Artificial Intelligence for Editors

Artificial Intelligence is becoming an integral part of content management. Talks in this category should explore how AI can enhance the TYPO3 editing experience, streamline workflows, and support content creators. Topics may cover AI-assisted content generation, SEO automation, AI-driven personalization, integration of AI tools into TYPO3, and ethical considerations in AI-powered content management.


Beyond TYPO3

TYPO3 is part of a larger ecosystem, and this category is dedicated to talks that explore its interaction with other technologies. Submissions can focus on topics such as headless CMS approaches, third-party integrations, digital experience platforms (DXPs), cloud services, modern web development trends, and TYPO3’s role in broader digital transformation projects.
