Turn Beats Flex automatic play/pause and call answering on or off
The Beats Flex magnetic earbuds automatically play or pause media—or answer or end calls—when you attach or detach the left and right earbuds from one another.
Turn automatic play/pause and call answering on or off on iPhone or iPad
Wear your Beats Flex and make sure they’re connected to your iPhone or iPad.
Go to Settings
, then tap the name of your Beats near the top of the screen.
Do either of the following:
Scroll down to Automatically Play/Pause, then tap the switch to turn it on or off.
Scroll down to Automatically Answer Calls, then tap the switch to turn it on or off.

Wear your Beats Flex and make sure they’re connected to your Mac.
Choose Apple menu
> System Settings, then click the name of your Beats in the sidebar.Do either of the following:
Scroll down to Automatically Play/Pause, then tap the switch to turn it on or off.
Scroll down to Automatically Answer Calls, then tap the switch to turn it on or off.

Wear your Beats Flex and make sure they’re connected to your Android device.
Go to the Beats app
. (If your Beats device screen doesn’t appear, tap , then tap My Beats.)Do either of the following:
Scroll down to Automatically Play/Pause, then tap the switch to turn it on or off.
Scroll down to Automatically Answer Calls, then tap the switch to turn it on or off.
