Benefits

Grow quickly, supported by scale

Stripe tries to be nimble in how we work while giving you the opportunity and resources to have a leveraged impact on the world. You will be well-supported by both your coworkers and your benefits package.

Inclusive coverage

We provide a thoughtful and balanced set of benefits that allows Stripes to be their best selves and do great work. Whether that means offering comprehensive mental, physical, and medical health plans, supporting Stripes’ financial futures, or providing fertility benefits and parental leave, our programmes put Stripes and their families first.

I feel grateful that Stripe advocated for me to expand my horizons and strive to achieve more, not only in my career but in education as well.

Alison Harrington, User Operations

Growth by way of learning

We are voracious learners and teachers. Our Education team delivers an onboarding and product-training curriculum for all new Stripes, and hosts expert-led courses on topics like project management fundamentals and macroeconomics. Beyond the formal programme, Stripes are constantly sharing knowledge with each other through conversation, documentation, reading groups, and informal talks.

A culture of broad participation

We have weekly sessions where senior leaders meet all Stripes and provide updates on the business, answer questions, and dive deep into recent projects and priorities. We have job titles, but we’re not highly stratified; we make decisions based on the quality of an idea, not the seniority of the person proposing it.

Community

Stripe Communities

We have numerous Stripe Communities, which are employee-created resource groups that drive community and connection among Stripes.

Stripes come from many different religious, spiritual, cultural, ethnic, and geographic backgrounds, and Interfaith provides a unified community of encouragement and support.

Jew-ish

Whether identifying with Judaism religiously or culturally (or both), or identifying as an ally, Stripes in Jew-ish work to provide resources and education to help Jewish Stripes be successful while balancing their career and traditions or religious beliefs. Jew-ish is a resource for anyone interested in Jewish culture and religion.

Parents

Our Parents community supports Stripes through events and training programs, by sharing best practices and difficult challenges, and advocating for workplace policies. Parents has taken an active role in developing Stripe’s parental leave tools, which provide resources to managers and expectant parents.

Rainbows

Rainbows welcomes lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual (LGBTQIA) Stripes and their allies. By investing in people, policy, and partnerships with our users, Rainbows aims to foster inclusivity and awareness of LGBTQIA affairs among all Stripes.

The Black Stripes

The Black Stripes supports and celebrates the interests of Stripes who self-identify as Black, African, African-American, Afro-European, Afro-Caribbean, Afro-Latinx, or any other identity part of the African diaspora, and their allies. The group is focused first on supporting the community, and second on creating opportunities to increase awareness and inclusivity.

Unidos

It offers a forum to discuss and support this group’s causes, and provides a platform for promoting awareness and expression of Hispanic and Latin American culture.

MENA

MENA is a non-partisan and non-religious group that celebrates Middle Eastern and North African culture and heritage, and aims to foster a sense of community and belonging among MENA Stripes and their allies. We are also a resource for Stripe as it enters the MENA market by supporting recruiting and business opportunities in this region.

Veterans @ Stripe

Veterans @ Stripe celebrates military service by supporting the inclusion, recruitment, and awareness of veterans and their allies. The group is open to any Stripe who has served in the military, their loved ones, and allies who support the Community.
