On the heels of a Super Bowl winning campaign, Saquon Barkley is the favorite to win offensive player of the year.
Oddsmakers listed Barkley at +500 at market open. A big dropoff occurs after Barkley – Jahmyr Gibbs and Ja’Marr Chase are both listed at +1000 with Bijan Robinson listed at +1200.
Six other players are listed at +1800 or shorter to win NFL offensive player of the year, including Derrick Henry (+1400), Puka Nacua (+1600) and Christian McCaffrey (+1800).

NFL Offensive Player of the Year: Predictions for 2025
Bijan Robinson (+1200)
Robinson took a big step forward in 2024. Bettors should expect an even bigger step forward this season.
From a rushing standpoint, I like Atlanta’s profile in 2025. Although Drew Dahlman left, incoming center Ryan Neuzil played meaningful time last year and should slot in rather easily.
In Zac Robinson’s first year as Falcons offensive coordinator, he took Atlanta from 22nd in rush offense DVOA to fifth, per ftnfantasy.com. As a unit, the Falcons jumped from 24th to 14th.
Robinson leaped from 976 yards on 4.6 yards per attempt to 1,456 yards on 4.8 yards per attempt.
In a Michael Penix-led offense, I expect an even heavier workload for Robinson.
In an admittedly small sample, Robinson averaged 22.3 rushing attempts in three Penix starts. With Cousins, it drops to 16.9 rushing attempts per game.
Even more encouraging about Robinson: Atlanta’s affinity for getting him the ball in the red zone.
The Texas alum amassed 60 rushing attempts and seven red zone targets. The next closest player? Drake London at 26 targets (no rushes).
As a result, I like backing Robinson to earn this year’s offensive player of the year award.
