YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE / DB Challenge...

Hello! I am playing along today with the newest challenge that will be posting over at Dilly Beans ~ Summer Lovin'! I know - it's been a while! You should come over and play along with us! 

I used the ever adorable image Amalia & Butterflies and did some digital paper piecing, using this kit is by Mommyish and Meghan Mullins called Little Ray of Sunshine.

MIMI'S WITCH COSTUME / DB - "Halloween"...

HYPNO EYE MONSTER / DB - "Halloween"...

Good morning! We're back! It's nice to get away sometimes... but it's always nice to come home! We had a wonderful time, I read 3 books and ate WAY too much - LOL! We also saw experienced some amazing things in Grand Cayman and Jamaica. I have to admit I enjoyed Grand Cayman much more. We also got to visit with a lot of family, so that was fun, too! Here we are with a giant stingray! As you can tell, Maisie wasn't too thrilled!

This card is for this week's challenge over at the Dilly Beans Challenge blog, the theme is Halloween all month! YAY! I used this cute image, Hypno Eye Monster - isn't he adorable?!? Too cute to spook, I think. I went with light pastel Halloween colors, and added Copics on the black & white patterned paper. It's hard to tell, but there are Stickles on the eyes.

RIVER / DB - "Jewels"...

Hello! I'm sitting down for the evening, watching Haven on SyFy (LOVE it!) and posting a few things. We started a new challenge today over at the Dilly Beans Challenge blog... add jewels/glitter. I used this sweet image, River Framed. I love her sweet expression. I used rhinestones for my jewels in the centers of the flowers. For added interest, I used a black pen to add a line to the inside of the patterned paper flag and scallop.

TRICK OR TREAT / DB - "Buttons" & USSIS #15...

Good morning!!! It's finally Friday! We are starting a new challenge over at Dilly Beans - BUTTONS! I use buttons all the time, so I have jars and jars of them! I wanted to use this week's Unscripted Sketch, so I chose this image, Skull Squares. Unscripted is doing something fun, Flashback Summer - recycling older sketches! What an awesome idea!

Good morning again! We are starting a new Dilly Beans Challenge, this week it's all about "monochrome". I immediately thought of this gorgeous image, Turtle Stack. I love how beautifully detailed it is... so much fun to color!!! I hardly ever use green-green colors, so  these Copics got a workout - YAY! The sentiment is from Sea Mates by the Alley Way Stamps!

DREAMS & UNICORNS / DB - "Tags"...

Hello, this is my second post for the day! The theme this week over at the Dilly Beans Challenge Blog is to make a tag! I love tags and rarely make them! I have been dying to use this adorable little Unicorn Girl image. The sentiment says... "Dreams are the playground of unicorns."

There's a joke in one of my CT's that I "LOVE" unicorns... and actually I now do a little, strangely enough. People are always posting unicorns pics and tagging me. I actually didn't care for them one way or another when the joke began - but they are growing on me! It all started with a conversation about fantasy scrapping and me saying I hated it. One of the ladies decided to scrap a layout of me as a unicorn to change my mind... and here it is. Jennifer Valencia it's all your fault!

I love this sweet image, Cinnamon, by Megan Suarez at Dilly Beans! We started a new challenge on Friday (why yes - I AM way behind in my posting!) with the theme of "Citrus Colors". We started a new challenge today over at Dilly Beans, the theme is flowers! I love the new~ish Doodle Flower 1 image from Megan, it is so adorable!!! I used it here with a sentiment from TAWS Tag-Alongs and this week's RetroSketch. I added some stickles to the flower, and cut the little fishtail tags by hand.

Hey again!!! I have a card to share for today's new challenge "Pastels" over at the Dilly Beans Challenge Blog. I often think I am terrible with pastel colors, but I love yellow and I had this old paper from Basic Grey that I thought would fit the bill! I used the image Doodle Flowers Framed - I really really LOVE it!
