You could be an award winner designer. Do you want to know how? Go to UX Nordic Conference 2024 website and submit your best work, the one you are really proud about. How to submit it? 1 - A brief Video Presentation and Visualisation, Create a visual presentation of the solution. The visualisation can be a video or screencast of max. 90 seconds. Present the final product as well as some stages during the development including how you started. Appendences are not required but allowed. If you do submit an appendence, it must be no longer than 5 pages. 2 - Description of the process/method. Submit a short written description of what challenge you wanted to solve and why you found this issue relevant to address. We are curious about the hypotheses you developed, your choice of methodology, what the research phase looked like, but just as much what you learnt along the way and how it influenced the design process. 3 - Description of the solution Submit a short written description of the solution and why it is creative, original and innovative. Furthermore, explain why the form and function must match the needs of the target group. Please describe the insights behind the final solution design and how these have been incorporated into the final solution design. It is an advantage if the solution relates to one or more of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals. But it is not a requirement. 4 -Description of the results Submit a short written description of the results you have established so far. Here, we emphasise a proven impact that supports that you have solved the original challenge. The impact can be in terms of value for the user, such as functional or social value. It can also be business value such as financial profit. It is a requirement that digital solution has been launched or relaunched within the last 2 years. The UX solution can be an completely new design, but can also be a new sub-feature or an optimisation of an existing design. NDAs can limit one's growth in that you don't get to share your work and get more feedback but here's a possible way to work around it. Hi-fidelity screens are easily recognizable and matchable but the case is not the same for wireframes. So, if hi-fi screens can't be shared because pf NDAs, one can consider sharing wireframes instead since they are not easily recognizable and still preserve privacy. It's important to share carefully though and also possibly share very few and generic pages only. #design #dailydesigndose #NDAs

🔔 Are you frustrated about the growing AI? Don't you know how to use AI in your everyday role as a UX designer? Do you think that AI will replace us as UX designers? 💡 These were the concerns behind organizing the AI for UX designers event. The event just happened last week at Kentico company in Brno, where around 45 design enthusiasts gathered. Matěj Heřman, Marek Malík, and Jan Řezáč shared their perspectives. 🎤 Matej shared his experience at Kentico, discussing how they are implementing AI in their product and how they see it in the long term. Marek shared how he uses AI during UX research, and Jan discussed AI in four levels: AI in the workplace, AI for designers, AI designers, and AI products. 📕 What I learned from this meeting: - For implementing AI in your products, find your gaps and opportunities, do research for it. Start small and learn how to leverage and integrate new tools. - How to write your usability testing scenarios with your own AI chatbot. - Having a critical point of view about what AI can do and can't do. I did UX research on the Mit ID app which there is lacking of some features and a poor UI which was frustrating for the old-age group of users Mit ID is an application of the Danish government used in Denmark where they can access and register their identity using their passport and ID under this application you have the following features. - banking system where you can keep your money. - money transfer and received money. - online shopping - pay your taxes through the Mit ID application If use other websites like health-related, education, and other local websites during the registration or login process you need to register or log in through the Mit ID app then you will be able to access that particular application that was a bit frustrating if you forget or lost your Mit Id credentials you can't recover it without passport or Id. this was the huge frustrating thing that the users mostly faced that I have tried to resolve in my user research and documentation and solve the problem that the old age group of users will smoothly interact with the Mit ID application. #uxdesign #uxreserch #documentation #mobileapp #Mitid

One tip for the design System. Always create base items for components and then create variants via instances. and when you will nest the props. Boom you will see the magic. For example ( Buttons ) I will create base items of the following props. size_sm size_md Size_lg Size_xl Size_xxl Icon_leading Icon_trailing Icon_Only and then create variants like state, hierarchy etc. It will save you a lots of lots of time

Moving from wireframes to final design is a journey - and a lot can happen along the way. In most of my projects we do usability testing with wireframes - totally makes sense. You want to get feedback on a prototype before you invest all the time in the pixel-perfect design and the development effort. But a wireframe is not the "final answer". The UI design can turn out quite differently as there will be lots of stakeholder feedback along the way. Usability testing shouldn't stop with your prototype. It should be iteratively. I am in the midst of such a fun journey with one of my clients: the project is truly agile and we use an iterative approach: 1️⃣ We started with wireframe & prototype testing to get feedback on the overall direction (sprint 0) 2️⃣ We split the functionality into sections (or sprints) 3️⃣ We test & iterate internally before we get user feedback for each "chunk" It's one thing to test your concept, your interactions, your flows - but final UI design will impact the user experience as well, so there is still lots to learn from user feedback. #uxdesign #uxresearch #agile #iterativedesign #usertesting
