This turmeric Ginger halwa can naturally heal joint pain

Joint pain, muscle cramps or slackening bone health are some of the most painful experiences. Ingredients

1 cup raw turmeric root, ¼ cup ginger, 1/2 cup jaggery, 1 tablespoon ghee 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, ½ cup sesame seeds,1/2 cup water, 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder chopped nuts as per taste.

Step 1

To begin with this easy recipe, wash and peel the raw turmeric root and cut them into small pieces.

Next, wash and ginger, grate the ginger and keep aside.

To make this recipe, heat a pan and add in 1 tablespoon of ghee over medium heat. Add the sesame seeds, grated turmeric and ginger, and start sautéing them for 2-3 minutes. Once the mixture becomes fragrant, natural oils start to release.

At this stage, add in water to this halwa, stir everything well, and let it simmer gently for about 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend and the turmeric and ginger to soften.

Now, add in the jaggery along with a pinch of salt, keep stirring. Lastly, add in cardamom powder and keep mixing until everything is evenly combined.

Lastly, cook for a few more minutes, allowing the liquid to reduce and thicken up. Keep stirring to prevent the halwa from sticking to the bottom of the pan. The texture should become smooth and thick. Garnish with a choice of nuts and dry fruits and enjoy.
