Taste Atlas, a popular food and travel guide recently released its list for '50 best egg dishes' in the world. And there is a moment of pride for Indians, as the popular protein-packed Masala Omelette has been ranked 22 in the list of best egg dishes. Here's the simplest recipe one can try at home.

Ingredients required

2 eggs, 1 onion, 1 tomato, 1 green chili, 2 tbsp coriander leaves, ¼ tsp turmeric powder, ½ tsp red chili powder, ½ tsp cumin powder, salt to taste, 1 tbsp milk, and 1 tbsp butter

Step 1

Peel, wash, and finely chop onion, tomato, green chilli, coriander leaves, and set them aside.

Break the eggs in a mixing bowl and whisk well along with milk.

To this, add the chopped veggies and whisk again.

Now, add the spices and whisk for another minute.

Heat a non-stick pan and grease it well with butter.

Pour the batter to form an omelette and cook and flip on a low flame until it turns golden from both sides.
