This leads detectives Finn Kiesewetter and Lars Englen to a burned-out sailboat. The boat was apparently hit with a Molotov cocktail. But was it intentional, or did Lothar Klum become a murder victim by tragic coincidence, because the perpetrator didn't know anyone was on board? Fingerprints make 16-year-old Dirk a suspect. The boy flees before he can be questioned. His confiscated computer contains all sorts of videos of highly questionable pranks. But Dirk isn't alone in them. Public prosecutor Zobel recognizes Kai Jahnke, the son of a well-known Lübeck judge. Kai claims to have been at home the night of the crime, but Finn doesn't believe the boy and is suspicious of the seemingly obvious sequence of events. Do vandalism and violence fit with Dirk's other criminal record? Just as Finn and Lars are about to put Kai Jahnke under pressure, the wanted Dirk shows up at the police station and makes a confession. But Finn doesn't believe his words.
