However, when he saw how Brian suffered after opening up about his sexual orientation, he chose to hide his real identity. Growing up, Rey looked up to Brian because of the courage and hardwork his brother invested in the fashion line business the latter owned to prove their father wrong, which Rey thought he could not do.
