Reena's been grooming Shyla for marriage a rich man, and she refuses to let Shyla ruin her future. Later that night, Reena is visited by the Spirit of Christmas, a ghostly entity who warns her of a tragic fate. After wasting her life on material things, which cannot love her in return, Reena will meet an early grave. She will have starved herself of love and meaning, causing unnecessary pain for those around her. But Shyla and Elle, will live happily ever after without her. Reena must change her ways soon, lest she will die sad and alone - When Reena wakens from the terrible vision, she's a changed woman, grateful for a second chance. It's Christmas morning, and the girls gather by the Christmas tree, unwrapping their presents. Shyla confesses to Reena that Elle is her lesbian girlfriend. Instead of reacting negatively and judgmentally, Reena lovingly welcomes Elle into the family. The couple are completely surprised to see Reena behave like a sweet, supportive mother, Reena just wants Shyla to be happy. Besides, Reena understands firsthand about loving women. The former lesbian admits she slept with Shyla when her step daughter was barely eighteen. Elle had no idea that Shyla and Reena were lovers.
