While Caroline's parents are still discussing the matter, Caroline decides against her sister's kidney. But suddenly, her condition worsens dramatically, and the parents are faced with the most difficult decision of their lives. In order to spy on her mother's new lover, Tanja's daughter Lotte makes an appointment with Christian under a false name and with fabricated symptoms. But Christian quickly sees through her - until Lotte suddenly actually feels pain. Michael's hand problems have healed, but he's afraid it might start shaking again. Therefore, he delegates operations to his assistant.
