In a new case, Eric Brunet reports that his wife, Sylvie, and his daughter, Paloma, are missing, the family car, abandoned as if they had fled or had been kidnapped. Boris and Constance discover that the Brunets have been foster parents for 15 years and took Paloma in when she was born, because the biological parents, Jennifer Marland and Mickaël Rocca, were drug addicts and the baby was sent to foster care.
