Finn Kiesewetter and his team first question Anke and Gerd Siebert, who report a heated argument between the neighbors the day before. Did doctor Georg Kirchner kill his wife in the heat of the moment? Various clues point to this. When the investigators visit Kirchner, he is deeply shaken, but they find a bloodstained jacket on him, which incriminates him. Kirchner's past provides further clues: His name comes up in connection with a kidnapping case six years ago in Hamburg.
