Ramin believes it might have something to do with the valuable carpet that Leyla is supposed to sell for a customer. Stella and her friend Jacob take samples from the carpet and discover that it has been contaminated with an illegal insecticide. But things get much worse: All the carpets in the office are contaminated, and suddenly the Jamis' entire carpet business is at stake. But these developments are also a catastrophe for Fadi, the owner of the carpet: He is a refugee from Afghanistan and wanted to use the proceeds from the sale of the valuable carpet to bring his family safely to Germany.
