He faces several weeks of sick leave. However, his old apartment has already been terminated: If the new house isn't completed as planned, the family will have to move into a construction site for the time being. The shock for the passionate amateur climber is all the greater when Timo and Christian suspect chronic osteoarthritis is behind his joint pain. Lisa's patient Maren is shocked when she receives the news that her best friend Stefanie is planning to sue her for the adoption of her unborn child. Stefanie had donated eggs to Maren and became infertile as a result of the procedure. Reason enough for her boyfriend Werner to now claim Stefanie's maternity in court. However, the stress of the impending legal dispute is so severe for Maren that she is experiencing bleeding and severe circulatory problems. Lisa and Christian make it clear to Maren that her own tension could jeopardize the birth of her child. After Maren's husband, Tobias Werner, accidentally breaks Werner's nose during an argument, he threatens to use the injury as leverage in court. But the situation is slowly becoming unbearable for Stefanie, too, and so she asks Anna to intervene as a mediator in the case. Meanwhile, the disagreement between Christian and Anna over the legal dispute culminates in a heated argument. When Christian hastily accuses Anna of career-oriented motives, she turns away from him, hurt. Michael has temporarily moved into a hotel after Lisa's affair with Timotheus von Hatzfeld. Lisa is perplexed because she still hasn't gotten through to him. Their daughter, in particular, is noticeably suffering from Michael's absence. But just as Michael decides to return, he runs into von Hatzfeld, and a serious argument ensues. Meanwhile, the mutual attraction between Clara and Sabrina is growing ever more intense.
