When the police ask about the exact circumstances, Joe doesn't tell the truth. Marc, Antonia and Till cover up her lie. The next morning, the shock is still there. Till confesses to Marc that he is bitterly disappointed in Joe. He doesn't want anything to do with her anymore. Joe, for her part, doesn't have a good feeling about the others. She thinks it's best for everyone when she gets out as soon as possible. Joe hopes for a conciliatory sign from Till before she leaves. But he gives her the cold shoulder ... Laura fears that the Weigels and the Albrechts might reconcile. She must act. At the breakfast table, she unnoticeably swaps fresh rolls for rock-hard ones.
