Great fire sweeps terminal and ferry building at Camden, N.J., entailing loss of $300,000 and causing serious tie-up in railroad traffic. Transport Buford with Thirtieth Infantry sails from San Francisco. It is to make its way east through the Panama Canal, the troops going to permanent quarters at Plattsburg, N.Y. This is the first time troops have transferred through the canal.
