The goulah, or water vessel, making is an interesting scene. This is an important industry for Egypt, the water vessels being so necessary for this country. A quantity of clay is shaped out by the hand, as it is set spinning on a table, worked by one of the modeler's feet. After the design has been duly made and passed, it is taken off the machine and put with others ready for baking. Written by
